This poster is an original design created in 2021 by multiple Emmy Award winner, Martin Geller of Blue Lightning TV as an homage to the psychedelic posters of the late 1960s through the early 1970s.
Psychedelic art uses highly distorted, surreal visuals, bright colors and full spectrums to evoke, convey, or enhance the psychedelic experience which is often characterized by the striking perception of aspects of one's mind previously unknown. The term "psychedelic" is derived from the Ancient Greek words psychē (ψυχή, "soul") and dēloun (δηλοῦν, "to make visible, to reveal"),[3] translating to "mind-manifesting". Vanilla Fudge is an American rock band known predominantly for their slow extended heavy rock arrangements of contemporary hit songs, most notably "You Keep Me Hangin' On". The band has been cited as "one of the few American links between psychedelia and what soon became heavy metal”.
