This collection consists of original poster designs by multiple Emmy Award-winner, Martin Geller of Blue Lightning TV, as an homage to the psychedelic posters of the late 1960s through the early 1970s. Having lived through this period, Martin is intimately familiar with this art genre. At its essence, psychedelic art aspires to evoke, convey, or enhance the psychedelic experience which is often characterized by the striking perception of aspects of one's mind previously unknown. Its common themes use highly distorted, surreal visuals, and often with bright colors and full spectrums. The term "psychedelic" is derived from the Ancient Greek words psychē (ψυχή, "soul") and dēloun (δηλοῦν, "to make visible, to reveal"), translating to "mind-manifesting".
