“Op Art I” is an homage to Victor Vasarely (9 April 1906 – 15 March 1997), the a Hungarian-French artist, who is widely accepted as a "grandfather" and leader of the Op Art movement.
Op art, short for optical art, is a style of visual art that uses optical illusions. Op art works are abstract and typically give the viewer the impression of movement and often include the warping of shapes.
